House and Pregnancy Advice - Spina Bifida Connection Support ...

Hi Everyone!

Well our family has some news! we just found out we are expecting again! I am still very early along but have some things that I am wondering about! Also, we are looking to purchase our first home and need some advice as well!

So what I am wondering about with the pregnancy is, Caleb is going to be turning 2 in September, and by then I am sure I will be showing, not really concerned about then, but I am worried about the ending months of my pregnancy and how I am going to carry Caleb. I am a very small person, and with my last pregnancy I could hardly balance my belly was so big! Any suggestions? Also, I guess my biggest fear is that I feel that in a way, I am being unfair to Caleb by having another baby so soon. I always wanted him to have a sibling, but he still has alot of appointments (conductive learning, physio) and I do not want to take away any of my attention, because I want him to be able to reach his full potential in regards to mobility. Maybe I am just too worried?

Also, we are looking for our first home! We have a limited budget, so it will be more of a starter home than anything. We are thinking of being in it for about 5 years or so until I am finished school..so probably for half of Calebs childhood!, so my question is, what kind of house is best suited for Caleb? I know a more wheelchair accessible house would be a bungalow, but would a 2 storey still be something of an option, can it be made accessible enough so that Caleb would still be able to go wherever he wanted in the home without trouble?
